Focus 3 was developed by our Taiwan-based design team with input from ours. We helped explore secondary paths to cover all bases including front gesture, arms/integrated headphones, and rear cradle.

XR Elite was led by our Taiwan-based ID team, with some details handled by our team. The initial idea of a hybrid HMD (switchable from a wireless all-in-one to a lighter all-in-two) came from explorations that occurred near the end of the Vive Flow project.

This project is a design language exercise for the Vive’s entrance into inside-out tracking controllers and an ergonomic update from the original Vive Wands.

Rubi was a project developed for the Project Proton concept introduced at MWC 2019. These earbuds were meant to give a user 3D sound while wearing Vive HMDs and quickly switch from VR to a user’s phone.

Viverse Home includes several projects ranging from architectural, 3D systems building, furniture, and experiences design. Our team was initially tasked with a quick refresh of the then-current Vive space users drop into, but we saw the need for a more holistic redesign.

Cosmos Wireless was a quick sprint to test the idea of an accessory to wirelessly tether the Vive Cosmos to a user’s PC. This exploration was mostly an architectural and ergonomic study supported with some visualizations.

I’ve worked on a few interesting projects that don’t really fit in my portfolio, but I really enjoyed stretching my legs on these.
